This guide explains how to administer your Documotor at the highest level. Here you will learn how to add administrators and additional units to your tenancy.

How to rename a unit

  1. Write the new name in the textbox.
  2. Press the Change Name button.

Administrators

The administrators menu provides an overview of users with admin rights for the organization. Users with admin rights to the organization also have admin rights to all units in the organization but using the management interface on within each unit, it is possible to assign users as administrators specifically for that unit.

How to add an administrator

  1. Press the Add administrator button.
  2. Type the email of the user you want to add as an administrator.

How to remove an administrator

  1. Press the … 🢒 of the administrator that you want to remove.
  2. Select the Remove from unit option in the menu.

Units

The units menu allows an organization administrator to add new units or delete existing ones. To see how to administrate an unit, see unit administration.

How to add a unit

  1. Press the Add Unit button.
  2. Write the name of the new unit in the textbox in the dialog box.
  3. Press the Ok button.

How to delete a unit

  1. Press the … 🢒 of the unit that you want to remove.
  2. Select the Delete Unit option in the menu.
